The week in review

I had an idea this weekend. How cool would it be if I posted on the blog every Sunday so everyone could know what happened this week here at Peaceful Company? So here goes...

The week began with some spikes in sales due to the approaching holiday season. Business really starts to spike in the coming week. We got a log of cool new things in this week. I have to say the coolest new thing is the glass tumblers made from recycled wine bottles. They are sturdy, cool and each glass (they come in sets of 4) says "Protect our Earth" in a different language.

I also had the delight to be able to spend 2 days in pure magic in New York city. I met a friend for dinner on Monday night at the coolest restaurant "The Antique Garage" in Soho. I also had the priveledge of going to the city on Wendsday and having lunch at Takashimaya, a very zen place. They served us a tea made from popcorn, it even smelled like popcorn. I followed that up with a Dr. Hauschka facial at a cool Soho spa. Ahggg... it was sooo nice. Then I attended a fundraiser for the Women's Presidents Organization on the top floor of the St. Regis Hotel. My husband said I had a rock start week. I guess I would have to agree.

The weekend wound down for me Sunday night with a National Geographic show on Yosemite. I learned an amazing thing about the Sequoia trees. Did you know they have an internal water system that takes a ton of water each day to the tops of them. The saddest thing is global warming can potentially dry up that water and cause these amazing trees to die...just some food for thought...

Peace, Love & Happiness,

Sandy
